I can understand shortcuts and filters sure but... when it comes to the shape and the creation itself... I disagree with ai generation. Also rendering everything yourself is, imo, more fun despite it taking more time to do so. My art style is simple and messy but it converges with the flat colors to create dynamicism and helps me reduce time needed for manually finishing my comic panels. Technique can make an artist feel better about what they made and inspire others to do the same... AI is only a business tool imo that people with a capitalising mindset will inherit. I guess they'll never understand how it feels to make something, as we were destined to from the beginning. I will make a video soon uncut, showing my process once my first episode is finished in the near future to further show what I mean.

A year later, it seems Morpholio Trace has added most, if not all of your missing features. HSL color, basic pencil/pen customization and the normal blending modes (that I use, but I am an engineer so it met not be enough for designers) etc. Good to see the developer continue to support the tool. $20 per year is cheap in my book. Coming from Adobe's pricing..

I love Morpholio Trace, but I’m finding it hard to set up dimensions. I’m used to AutoCAD and Revit, where the conversion to metric is easy to set for Australian drafting standards. Eg: scale 1: 50 (1 metre in drawing = 50 metres in real life). I have no idea how to set that up on Morpholio. I’d appreciate advise if anyone is willing to help? Thank you from an excited Aussie design student ❤

So far all I've seen on drawing floor plans with MT is using a background image to trace. Yesterday I went to a jobsite to measure and draw the exterior perimeter walls of a house and, trying to keep the dimensions true and accurate, it was not an effective process.

Great Tips. I love your videos! I wanted to ask if there are any ways to snap an exact length line in Trace, rather then just using the ruler feature. If you are zoomed out and drawing a long line, you can miss the mark by quite a bit. How about adjusting the length of a line?

Great review. I am an engineer who mainly reviews drawings on PDFs and occasionally uses Autocad for drawing amendments (when I am in a rush). Autocad itself tries to promote the remote app for iPad, and I wonder if you have any experience with that. Cheers.

It’s ridiculous that SketchUp and Savage (publishers of Procreate) haven’t yet developed the ability for SketchUp to export 3D models to Procreate. One, you have a 3D modeling app. Two, you have a painting app that can import 3D models to paint on. Those two apps working together would be the iPad’s killer app; they need to make this work.

Hello Henry, I have a 00 scale (4mm to 1’-0) model railway. When you went into set up your grid, would I make the grid 4mm? Is it that simple ?
